Help us learn more about coronavirus impact in Arizona

Government officials have so far provided the public with little information about the impact of the new coronavirus in Arizona. Among the things the public doesn't know:

    • The true state of testing for the COVID-19, because many who have symptoms still cannot get tested.
    • Who is dying from the illness because little to no information is given about the deceased.
    • What is occurring inside Arizona hospitals during the pandemic, where staff are facing a shortage of personal protective equipment.
    • Who is sick and dying in Arizona's nursing homes and assisted-care facilities. The state won't even release the names of the facilities where outbreaks have occurred.

If you are a nurse, doctor, other health care provider or a patient, The Arizona Republic wants to hear what is happening on the front lines in combating this virus. If you know someone who has died of COVID-19 and would be willing to share details, we want to talk to you. If you have had problems getting tested,  we encourage you to share details so we can hold those responsible accountable. If you or your loved one is working at or lives in an assisted care or nursing facility, we need to hear from you so we can let the public know how coronavirus is ravaging these facilities.

We will not publish your name unless you give us explicit verbal or written approval to do so.
